City of Swan · First Aid Course

As part of our 'Capacity Building Approach', the Rural Community Development team would like to offer your community group the opportunity to train two of your volunteers/committee members in St John's accredited 'Provide First Aid', formerly Senior First Aid.

Along with this training each participating community organisation will have the opportunity to purchase a Large Leisure First Aid Kit at a subsidised cost of $50, regular cost is $160! This will mean that you community organisation will have two certified First Aid Officers and a First Aid Kit to assist in running of activities and events in the future!

The First Aid training will be run on Saturday 20th May at Baskerville Hall, from 8am 5pm. Lunch will be provided

There will be some pre-training reading to be completed by participants details of which will be sent once you register. The cost of the training will be $30 per participant which is payable via Cash at City of Swan Bullsbrook, Gidgegannup and Ellenbrook Libraries.

Should you wish to purchase the subsidised First Aid Kit, please notify me when you register and I will arrange for this to be available on the day of the training.

City of Swan · Free Bus to Skate Competition

The City of Swan and Skateboarding WA are hosting a city-wide Skate Comp as part of National Youth Week on Saturday 8th April 12 4pm.

The comp will be held at the Ellenbrook Skate Park and will include free BBQ, stalls, a DJ and other entertainment.

We are currently seeking registrations of interest for a free bus to and from the competition from Bullsbrook, Gidgegannup and Bindoon. Under 12s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the bus.
