Registration day at Percey Cullen Oval (Recreation Centre) on (Thursday) 19th February 2015, 3.30 to 5.30 pm.

Fire Brigades · Private Fire Unit Guidelines

Private fire units can take many forms, from a simple trailer-mounted tank, pump and hose to decommissioned fire units. "Slip-on" units for utes/traybacks are the most common type in many rural areas. Any such unit can be better than having nothing, particularly when protecting you own property is concerned, and in initial attack on nearby/neighbours' fires.

However, there are significant risks to the users if they don't ensure that they are fit for purpose, don't use them sensibly, and if the users themselves don't wear adequate protective clothing.
