Paruna Reserve · Volunteer Maintenance

Paruna Reserve is holding its annual maintenance period in which volunteers can nominate to help with minor tasks for as long or short as they wish.

This is done every year commencing late March into April prior to it opening to the public for self-guided walks on 1 May. Tasks include clearing deadfall from walk trails, oiling picnic tables/benches, timber walkways and small bridges.

Volunteers can participate weekdays or weekends for as long as they wish. There is overnight accomodation with hot showers (free) if anyone wants to work there for a couple or more days.

The views are spectacular and its a great opportunity for busy people to participate in a short term volunteer project. Interested people should contact the manager Clint on 0429 912862 or go to the website for more details.

Experience Gidgegannup · Small Farm Field Day 2014 - Exhibitors

This year is the 7th Small Farm Field Day organized by the Experience Gidgegannup Committee.

Every year we build on the success of the previous years and this year we are excited with the theme of the day being "From the Ground Up".

The focus this year is all about living, learning and growing. We have an exciting programme of speakers eager to impart their knowledge and answer any questions. Livestock will be well represented with exhibitors available to help with information and advice on a wide range of animals. This year we will not be having the Open Farms, however there will be plenty of entertainment at the grounds throughout the day.

We look forward to welcoming back previous exhibitors and to meeting those who will be contributing for the first time.
