Active Tree Services

With regards to the clearing of debris, ATS are required to remove all debris daily for urban areas, and before finishing the vegetation cutting and clearing services on a weekend for rural areas. Gidgegannup is classified as urban by Western Power and as such, any debris should be removed at the end of the working day.

ATS are not to leave debris in gutters, drains, water courses, on fences, on fire breaks, and or on access tracks.

Should residents find that ATS have not acted accordingly, they should call ATS (on 9434 9747) during normal business hours, advising the location and what has occurred and request ATS rectify the situation.

If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily, Western Power should be contacted (on 13 10 87), as it means that ATS are not acting according to the terms of Western Power's Deed of Standing Offer (contract) with them.

Kookaburra Cinema · Opening Date 7 January 2012

Dear All,

Kookaburra Season 16 re-opening has been unavoidably delayed until Jan 2012 due to construction work adjacent to the cinema which has impacted upon essential services necessary to operate the facility.

The date is tentatively set at Saturday Jan 7th 2012 and the first program will be emailed out prior to Xmas as well as being posted on the web page. Tentative early stage bookings are in order of screening: Red Dog (PG), Midnight In Paris (PG), Johnny English Reborn (PG), Oranges & Sunshine (M), Barney's Version (M), Crazy Stupid Love (M), The Help (M) and maybe subject to change.

When you next visit Kookaburra I think you will be most pleasantly surprised at the changes which I feel will greatly improve the facility for all and well worth the short delay at starting this season as the facility is upgraded.

Regard, Lindsay @ Kookaburra
