YMCA · WA Youth Parliament 2009

The Youth Parliament Program will this year be running from Sunday the 5th of July to Friday the 10th with. The program is once again a fantastic opportunity for young people to be educated about the workings of Australian democracy and to voice their opinions in a parliamentary setting.

Nominations for participants are now open so if you know any young people within the West Swan - Swan Hills - Bassendean electorates who would be keen in getting involved in the program please forward them to our website where nomination information is available on the homepage.

Item 5.3 Community Infrastructure Funding Program

The City of Swan is to receive $677,000 as part of this funding from the Federal Government. The CoS has identified projects in wards and are proposing to supply Picnic tables and a gazebo at Noble Falls at a cost of some $30,000.
