Gidgegannup Info · Five years on

Since its inception in the winter of 2003 the Gidgegannup Community Website has seen a steady growth in content and visitor numbers.

Records show that in the first five years some 100 directory entries, 400 page updates, 400 downloadable documents, 1300 news items and 800 calendar items were published. In addition, online forum participants contributed almost 200 posts on a variety of subjects.

Page hits by actual persons, not search engines, have risen from 54,000 in 2006 to 78,000 in 2007, and the projection for 2008 is in excess of 100,000.

With the recently introduced new look we hope to continue this success, providing a community platform for local residents and also welcoming everyone near and far with an interest in our corner of the world.
