GIDGE SHOW

The Gidgegannup Agricultural Society committee’s planning is well underway for the 80th Annual Gidge Show to be held on Saturday 31 October 2026.  In celebration of this milestone anniversary the Show will be open from 9am until 10pm, with the Showgrounds Bar staying open to 8.30pm.  With over 30 food and drink vendors, 150+ trade stands, an expanded Amusement Park with Halloween-themed exhibits and dodgem cars (at long last) plus a full entertainment schedule it should be a great day and evening!

As the Gidge Agricultural Hall renovation project completion has been delayed the Ag Society is working with the City of Swan to install two Hall-replacement marquees instead.  Due to space constraints and security concerns and until otherwise advised entries to the Adults Art (Section T) will not be accepted this year.  Entries will be accepted for the Children’s Art (Section TC).   Following advice from the Royal Agricultural Society WA the Poultry (Section F) competition will not happen this year.   The Ag Society committee apologies for these exclusions and trusts our community members understand the exceptional circumstances involved.
