The Gidgegannup Agricultural Society holds a very popular, traditional Country Show each year on the last Saturday in October which attracts visitors and exhibitors from all over the hills, metropolitan areas and beyond.

Since our very humble beginnings in the mid 1940’s, the Society has fully or partly funded most building projects within the Show Grounds as well as providing practical support to many other community groups.

We fund and publish a monthly newsletter, the “Gidgegram” which is delivered free to residents of the Gidgegannup post code. Local organisations are able to publicise a wide range of local events, activities and topics while enabling businesses to reach local customers/clients through the “Gram’s” home delivery service.

Our “Objects are to promote, encourage and assist the development of agricultural, pastoral, horticultural, viticultural and industrial resources of Gidgegannup and the surrounding districts” and membership is open to any family, individual, club, association or body with aims consistent with our Objects.
