With April upon us the Agricultural Society has cranked up for the year ahead.
Each year the Society holds a 'Welcome & Farewell' dinner to recognise the contributions made by departing Committee Members and to welcome new members to the Committee.
Last year many of the Committee suffered personal, family or health issues. Absent from our dinner were outgoing members, Julie DeVita (Secretary) and Pat Harding (Publicity Officer). On behalf of the Society and Members we wish them well and hope to see them back to their best in the near future. We welcome two new Members to the Committee being Shelley Williams (Secretary) and Peter Baudinette (Committee Member) both of whom are keen and enthusiastic.
We are fortunate in that a number have people have offered to assist around show time and for that we are most thankful. However, there are never enough helpers. Anyone who can offer a bit of time and assistance is most welcome. Please contact Valerie (Chief Hall Steward) on 9274 1823 / email, or Shelley (Secretary) on 9574 6620 / email.
